Nurtiva

Last updated: August 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Nurtiva (“Nurtiva,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Midpoint Software Group, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Nurtiva mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Nurtiva is a care-coordination tool, not a medical provider. We are not a HIPAA-covered entity, and using the Service does not create a provider–patient relationship. Nurtiva does not provide medical advice.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your care or health information for advertising.

3. AI-Assisted Medication Scanning

Nurtiva offers an optional feature that uses artificial intelligence to read a medication label. If you choose to use it, the photo you take is transmitted securely to a third-party AI provider that reads the label and returns the text it finds (such as medication name, dosage, and instructions) so we can fill in the form for you. The image is used only to perform this reading and is not retained by us for this feature. AI can misread a label, so you review and confirm all details before they are saved. You can enter medication details manually instead of using this feature at any time.

4. How Information Is Shared

Within your care circle

Nurtiva is built for shared caregiving. Information you add to a care circle is visible to the other members of that circle according to their role. You control who you invite.

Service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. They process information only to provide their service to us:

RevenueCatSubscription management and purchase validation
Apple / GoogleApp distribution, in-app purchases, and push notification delivery

Legal reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or Nurtiva.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secure servers operated by our infrastructure provider. Access is restricted so that members can only reach data belonging to circles they are part of. We use encryption in transit and industry-standard safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability). To make a request, contact us at the address below.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data as described above, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal obligations.

8. Children’s Privacy

Nurtiva is intended for adults (18 and older) who are coordinating care. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for their own use. Information about a care recipient is entered by the adult members of a circle.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

10. Contact Us
